DescriptionReport submitted by KHRP in February 2009 to the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the UN body responsible for overseeing compliance with the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD). This document was prepared in response to the third periodic report submitted to the Committee by Turkey on its compliance with CERD. KHRP entered its submission in the run-up to the Committee’s 74th meeting, scheduled to start on 16 February 2009 and set to include consideration of Turkey’s compliance with CERD.
